2002 - 2004
Finding My Profession
After graduating from M.I.T with a Ph.D in mathematics, I taught for a while. Then I decided to leave the ivory tower to go to New York City to pursue a career in dance. Unfortunately, I did not succeed. But I happened to walk into the Microsoft Headquarters in New York City just a few blocks away from my apartment in Hell's Kitchen. There I found the resources to begin a career as a .NET developer. I had the opportunity to hear presentations from some of the greatest Microsoft professionals in this country.
2004 - 2013
Beginning a Career as a .NET Professional
I moved back to my hometown, Kansas City in 2004. I was quickly placed in a C#.NET contract position. I went on to full-time and contract positions. I moved from an entry level developer to a senior developer.
2013 - 2020
Schroeder Consulting LLC Beginning Years
I started Schroeder Consulting LLC in 2013. As the sole proprietor of Schroeder Consulting LLC, I built ASP.NET MVC applications and Web APIs for clients across the country. Clients included entrepreneurs, legal advertisers and newspaper publishers.
2020 - present
Schroeder Consulting LLC Now
Schroeder Consulting has expanded its operations to the Azure portal. A Plaid integration required an Azure Function webhook. Projects include WebJobs for recurrent processes and Logic Apps for emails.

Carolyn worked in a number of Kansas City area corporate environments before establishing her own consulting business.
